Digital Print Operator

Role Overview: As a Digital Print Operator at Classic Colors and Interiors in Kochi, you will play a crucial role in setting up, operating, and maintaining digital printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. Your attention to detail, basic graphic/layout skills, and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues will be essential in ensuring job specifications are met. Key Responsibilities: - Set up and operate digital printing machines like HP Indigo, Xerox, Canon, Ricoh, etc., based on job orders and production schedules. - Prepare and load print files and materials, ensuring proper formatting and alignment. - Monitor print jobs to maintain quality standards and perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of printing equipment. - Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues or escalate to service technicians when necessary. - Maintain accurate production records and logs as part of your daily tasks. Qualification Required: - High school diploma or equivalent, technical training in printing or graphic arts is a plus. - Minimum of 1 year of experience operating digital printing equipment. - Familiarity with digital print software such as Fiery Command WorkStation, Adobe Acrobat, or RIP software. - Basic computer skills and experience with PDF workflows are beneficial.
