Digital Operations Analyst

The Digital Operations Analyst role at Johnson Controls within the Building Technologies & Solutions business in Pune or Bangalore, India, involves supporting Commercial Sales in the digital solutions business through data analytics. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Business Analytics within Johnson Controls digital business. Under the guidance of the Digital Operations Director, you will work on analytics and advanced data initiatives to identify business needs, provide solutions, and implement processes. As a key member of the digital team, you will need to demonstrate leadership qualities such as confidence, perseverance, inspiration, discipline, and reliability. Your role will include ensuring accurate administration of operations, analyzing customer data and sales offering mix trends, and delivering tactical projects while thinking strategically. Your responsibilities will involve participating in the visualization, testing, and implementation of solutions, communicating and executing KPI delivery with leadership teams, reviewing key requirements with business leaders, understanding current and future business requirements, designing, developing, and supporting analytics functions, obtaining user acceptance on solutions, creating project plans, tracking progress, and communicating updates. Additionally, you will need to build and maintain data models, automated reports, and dashboards, define local source systems and data transformation, design user-friendly customer interfaces for business intelligence metrics, manage metric definitions, prioritize KPI implementation delivery, and integrate quality practices in delivery and audit work products. We are looking for candidates who hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business, along with at least 3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data science. You must have experience with data analytics, BI technology, advanced data analysis tools like Python or SAS, statistical modeling approaches, Machine Learning tools, and gathering and documenting business requirements. Proficiency in data profiling, data analysis, test case definition, managing multiple priorities, and knowledge of master data management concepts is essential. Strong communication skills, the ability to influence decisions, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative approach to working with teams onsite and offsite are also required.
