The publication caters to audiences in both Kannada and English, making it a key player in regional and bilingual journalism. VB continues to expand its reach and influence in the media market with its innovative and diverse content.
Responsible for driving revenue by selling advertising solutions across digital media platforms. The role focuses on identifying prospects, pitching media offerings, and managing client relationships to achieve sales targets.
* Prospect and onboard new advertisers across relevant industries.
* Pitch media inventory, ad formats, and campaign packages with clear value propositions.
* Understand client objectives and recommend data-backed media solutions.
* Coordinate with ad operations, content, and finance teams for smooth campaign execution.
* Monitor campaign performance; share reports and ensure client satisfaction.
* Maintain an active sales pipeline and meet monthly/quarterly revenue targets.
* Track industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing benchmarks.
* 14 years of experience in media sales (digital preferred).
* Strong understanding of CPM/CPC/CPL models and basic analytics.
* Good negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple clients and close deals under deadlines.
* Familiarity with ad platforms (Google, Meta, programmatic) is a plus.
