Digital Marketing Manager Location: Skyard Hostels – Laxman Jhula, Rishikesh (On-site Preferred / Hybrid Possible) Employment Type: Full-Time Working Days: 6 days/week Reporting To: Founder / Business Head Team Collaboration With: Social Media Manager, Reservation Team, Website Designer, Café & Events Team About Skyard Hostels: Skyard Hostels is an experience-led backpacker hostel brand based in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. Designed to be more than just accommodation, we offer vibrant community stays, spiritual and adventure-driven experiences, scenic views, and meaningful connections for travelers from all over the world. Position Overview: We are looking for a result-oriented and technically skilled Digital Marketing Manager to lead and execute all online marketing efforts for Skyard Hostels. This person should be hands-on with website development , SEO (on-page & off-page) , performance marketing , social media strategy , and campaign optimization . The role is highly analytical and creative, with clear KPI goals related to traffic, leads, bookings, and brand awareness. Key Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Website Management & Development Manage, maintain, and optimize the official Skyard Hostels website (preferably on WordPress/Hostinger/Wix/Webflow). Ensure the website is fast, responsive, SEO-friendly, and updated with current offers, blogs, photos, events, and booking links. Use in-house skills to troubleshoot bugs, broken links, or UI/UX issues. Improve the conversion rate (CRO) by optimizing user experience and booking flows. 2. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) On-Page SEO: Conduct keyword research for relevant travel, backpacking, and Rishikesh-based queries. Optimize meta tags, headlines, alt-text, URLs, and internal linking structure. Regularly update content with SEO-friendly blogs, guides, and landing pages. Use tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs. Off-Page SEO: Create high-quality backlinks through guest posts, blogger outreach, forums, travel directories, and partnerships. Build citations across OTAs, hostel directories, Google Maps, TripAdvisor, etc. Monitor domain authority and keyword ranking improvements. 3. Performance Marketing (Paid Ads) Plan, execute, and optimize Meta (Facebook + Instagram) Ads and Google Ads (Search + Display) . Create travel and booking-based campaigns to target relevant audiences across India and globally. Test multiple creatives, targeting strategies, and placements to optimize ROI. Monitor budgets, CPL (Cost Per Lead), CPA (Cost Per Acquisition), and ROAS. 4. Social Media Management Strategically Understand the Social Media algoritham by providing performance data, audience targeting tips, and ad campaign goals. Contribute to ideas for viral content, influencer partnerships, or trends. Ensure organic content and paid campaigns work in sync. 5. Analytics, KPIs & Reporting Set clear monthly and weekly KPIs : traffic, conversion, bookings, engagement, ad spend vs returns, etc. Use Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and ad dashboards to track performance. Generate weekly and monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations. Conduct competitor analysis and market research for strategic growth. 6. CRM & Email Marketing (Optional/Bonus) Build and manage a traveler email list for Skyard. Run email drip campaigns, newsletters, and automated follow-ups for reviews and future bookings. Desired Skills & Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on digital marketing experience in travel, hospitality, or D2C brands. Proficiency in tools: Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4, GSC, Ahrefs/SEMrush, Canva, WordPress/Webflow. Experience managing and scaling marketing budgets with performance ROI focus. Strong written English for ad copies, SEO, and blog oversight. Eye for design and UX to guide creatives and user journeys. Qualities We’re Looking For: Data-driven + creative mindset.
