Position Overview

We're seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Digital Marketing Intern to join our team in Padi, Chennai. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the digital marketing field and learn from experienced professionals. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, creative, and ready to contribute fresh ideas to our marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and scheduling content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter)
• Support the team in developing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels
• Conduct keyword research and implement on-page SEO optimization strategies
• Perform SEO audits and competitor analysis to improve website rankings
• Optimize website content, meta tags, descriptions, and headers for search engines
• Assist in link building activities and monitoring backlink profiles
• Conduct market research and analyze digital marketing trends and competitor activities
• Help create engaging content including graphics, captions, and basic video editing
• Monitor and report on social media engagement, website analytics, and SEO performance
• Assist in email marketing campaigns and database management
• Track search engine rankings and prepare SEO performance reports
• Collaborate with the team on brainstorming sessions for creative campaigns
• Help maintain and update the company website and blog
• Prepare performance reports and presentations for campaigns

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
• Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts and social media platforms
• Understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and search engine algorithms
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or similar platforms
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Familiarity with Canva, or willingness to learn graphic design tools
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Creative mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
• Must own a laptop and bring it to the office daily (MANDATORY)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship experience in marketing or related field
• Hands-on experience with SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or Ubersuggest
• Knowledge of WordPress or other CMS platforms
• Understanding of technical SEO concepts (site speed, mobile optimization, schema markup)
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Understanding of Google Analytics, Google Ads, or Facebook Ads Manager
• Experience with video editing tools
• Personal blog or social media presence demonstrating content creation skills
• Knowledge of Tamil language (beneficial for local market campaigns)

Compensation & Duration

• Stipend: ₹7,000 per month
• Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension based on performance)
• Work Schedule: Full-time (Monday to Friday)
• Start Date: Immediate or as per candidate availability

Location

Office-based position in Padi, Chennai. Candidates must be able to commute to our Padi office.
