Role Overview

Zipped Hospitality is looking for a driven, creative, and hands-on Digital Marketing & Creative Content Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for someone seeking a 360-degree experience in digital marketingsomeone who enjoys content creation, video editing, social media management, and hands-on execution. The intern will gain real-world exposure within the hospitality consulting industry. If this excites you, we'd love to hear from you!

Roles & Responsibilities:

Creative Content & Video Editing (Key Focus Area)

  • Edit short-form and long-form videos for reels, social media posts, ads, and informational content. Also shoot videos when required.
  • Create engaging visual content aligned with brand guidelines and hospitality industry aesthetics
  • Design creatives, carousels, banners, and thumbnails for social media platforms
  • Assist with basic graphic design work using tools like Canva / Photoshop (basic level)
  • Repurpose content across platforms (reels, posts, stories, shorts, etc.)

Content Creation & Management

  • Assist in creating social media captions, blogs, emailers, and website content
  • Manage and execute the content calendar, ensuring timely publishing across platforms
  • Support content marketing initiatives to improve brand visibility and engagement

Social Media Management

  • Assist in managing company social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
  • Schedule posts, monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and track performance
  • Contribute creative ideas and formats to improve reach and audience engagement

Digital Campaign Support

  • Assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring digital campaigns across social media, Google Ads, and Meta Ads
  • Support lead generation initiatives through creatives for ads and campaign optimization

Market Research & Industry Trends

  • Conduct market and competitor research, audience analysis, and trend tracking
  • Stay updated on emerging digital marketing, social media, and content trends relevant to hospitality and consulting

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the digital marketing and strategy teams
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, meetings, and ongoing project coordination

Requirements

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Design, Hospitality, or a related field
  • Strong interest in content creation, video editing, and social media marketing
  • Working knowledge of tools such as Canva, video editing software (Premiere Pro / CapCut / Final Cut / similar), Excel
  • Basic understanding of graphic design principles, branding, and visual storytelling
  • Familiarity with SEO, social media marketing, Google Ads, and Meta Ads is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative mindset with a strong eye for visuals and content
  • Self-driven, eager to learn, well-organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude
