The Collective Newsroom is currently accepting applications for the BBC India Trainee Scheme 2025-26, as part of its commitment to Diversity and Inclusion. As a Digital Journalism Trainee, you will be part of the Collective Newsroom team, specifically assisting in BBC News Hindi. The Collective Newsroom, established by some of the most experienced journalists in India, will be the primary hub for the BBC's Indian operations starting from April 2024. With over 250 journalists and operational staff, we aim to deliver distinctive, impartial, and world-class content. Serving as the exclusive content provider for the BBC's Indian language websites and social media platforms, including English, we are dedicated to bringing you the finest Indian journalism influenced by the world's leading news organization. Our content spans digital, audio, and television formats in languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Telugu, and English.
