Job
Description
As the DAM Librarian at Hogarth, you will play a crucial role in managing assets and coordinating content delivery. Working closely with various DAM stakeholders, you will be responsible for implementing workflows, metadata strategies, and tool integrations. Additionally, you will provide general user support, troubleshoot issues, conduct site analysis, and perform system audits. Your key responsibilities will include ingesting creative assets into the DAM system, ensuring quality control of files, and embedding required metadata. You will catalog assets using best practices, follow metadata standards, adhere to language/formatting guidelines, and use controlled vocabularies. Quality control for record data, including usage rights, and auditing existing metadata as necessary will also be part of your role. Furthermore, you will offer technical support for system users, manage DAM user accounts, and assist in training new and existing users, as well as in the development of user tutorials. Supporting the DAM Librarian with system upgrades and cross-departmental projects will also be part of your duties. The ideal candidate for this position will possess 3 - 5 years of professional DAM experience in a high-volume environment across digital, print, video, and TV adaptation briefs. You should have a strong understanding of DAM systems, metadata standards, databases, and rights management. Ability to interpret multiple brand guidelines, cross-reference against the brief, add metadata for deliverable output, and upload to the DAM system is essential. In addition, you should be adaptable in a fast-paced and dynamic start-up environment, have working knowledge of digital/graphic file formats, be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, and possess strong attention to detail and time management skills. A clear communicator and process-driven individual who can help drive best practices will thrive in this role. Hogarth is committed to diversity and inclusion, striving to create an inclusive culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion for everyone. As an equal-opportunity employer, we believe in recruiting people from diverse backgrounds and supporting them for long-term success. Join us in creating an environment where every voice is heard, connection is experienced, opportunity is enjoyed, and a sense of belonging is felt.
