Position Summary: The Vice President of Strategic Planning is responsible for leading the construction and execution of the company's overall strategic planning system. They are a key decision-maker in the company's strategic direction, business growth planning, and long-term investment strategy. This role will drive sustainable growth, business diversification, and enhanced competitiveness through in-depth market analysis, competitive research, industry insights, and cross-departmental strategic collaboration. As a core member of the senior management team, the Vice President of Strategic Planning will guide the company's medium- and long-term strategy formulation, business portfolio optimization, major project evaluation, and strategy execution, ensuring the company maintains a leading edge in a highly competitive environment and maximizes long-term value. Key Responsibilities: Corporate Strategic Planning Lead the development of the company's 3-5 year medium- and long-term strategy, business layout, and growth roadmap. Conduct research on industry trends, policy directions, and the macro environment, providing strategic insights. Build the company's strategic framework, implementation path, and key results (OKRs/KPIs). Business Portfolio and Investment Strategy Evaluate the existing business portfolio and propose optimization suggestions. Identify new markets, new products, and new investment opportunities; drive strategic mergers and acquisitions or collaborations. Lead feasibility studies and ROI analyses for major projects, capital investments, and strategic mergers and acquisitions. Strategic Execution and Organizational Coordination Establish a strategic execution system to ensure strategic goals are implemented across all business units. Coordinate cross-departmental resources to drive strategic projects forward on schedule and achieve expected results. Oversee the formulation and execution of annual strategic plans and budgets. Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis Establish a competitive intelligence system to regularly analyze industry landscape, competitor activities, and customer changes. Provide market data, analytical models, and business forecasts necessary for strategic decision-making. Key Project Leadership Drive enterprise-level transformation projects, such as digital transformation, intelligent upgrades, and new business incubation. Manage cross-departmental strategic project teams to ensure projects are delivered on schedule. Strategic Communication and Senior Management Support Present strategic plans, analytical reports, and business recommendations to the board of directors and senior management. Ensure alignment of strategic direction, priorities, and objectives across the company. External Collaboration and Ecosystem Building Maintain communication and build relationships with industry experts, government agencies, partners, and investment institutions. Participate in external forums, industry organizations, and strategic cooperation negotiations to secure resources and influence for the company. Organizational Capabilities and Team Management Lead the strategic team and enhance its strategic analysis and cross-functional collaboration capabilities. Build the organizational strategic system and management mechanisms, and promote a strategic culture. Risk Management and Performance Monitoring Identify strategic risks and develop countermeasures. Evaluate the effectiveness of each business strategy's implementation and propose adjustments and improvements. Qualifications: Education Requirements Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management Science, or a related field; MBA or overseas prestigious university background preferred. Work Experience Over 20 years of experience in strategic planning, consulting, business planning, or corporate management, including over 5 years of senior management or strategic leadership experience. Experience in strategic management of large enterprises, group companies, or multinational corporations is preferred. Experience in industry research, business analysis, and M&A analysis is preferred. Key Responsibilities 1. Corporate Strategy Develop and optimize the company's medium- and long-term strategic plans, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and market trends. Analyze industry dynamics, competitive landscape, and technological trends, providing strategic insights and development recommendations. Lead the justification, promotion, and implementation of strategic projects. 2. Investment and M&A (M&A/Investments) Responsible for screening and evaluating potential M&A targets, investment projects, and strategic cooperation opportunities. Lead the entire process from due diligence, financial modeling, valuation analysis, negotiation to transaction execution. Coordinate the legal, financial, technical, and tax teams to ensure the closed-loop process of M&A projects. 3. **Post-Merger Integration Management (PMI)**: Responsible for ensuring smooth business integration and achieving expected value. 4. **Strategic Partnerships & Business Development**: Identify and drive cross-industry collaborations, new market entry opportunities, and ecosystem partnerships. Professional Skills Proficient in M&A processes, valuation models, due diligence, and transaction structure design.
