Job Summary

The Die Maintenance Executive is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, repair, and upkeep of dies and tooling equipment. The role involves preventive maintenance, breakdown handling, inspection, and documentation to support efficient production and minimize downtime.

Role & responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance of dies and tooling based on schedule.
Conduct breakdown analysis and troubleshoot die-related issues promptly to reduce production delays.
Inspect dies before and after production runs to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality.
Maintain and update maintenance logs, reports, and die history records.
Coordinate with the production and tool room teams for die changeovers and improvements.
Assist in the design and development of die modifications for performance enhancement.
Monitor wear and tear and initiate reconditioning or replacement as necessary.
Ensure tooling safety standards are met in handling and storage.
Assist in the inventory management of spare parts and consumables related to dies.

Requirements:

Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Making, or a related field.
Experience: 15 years of relevant experience in die maintenance in a manufacturing setup.
