The Data/Information Management Intermediate Analyst role involves applying specialized knowledge to monitor, assess, analyze, and evaluate processes and data. You will be responsible for identifying policy gaps, formulating policies, interpreting data, and making recommendations. In this position, you will need to have experience in coding within the SFMC (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) Automation Studio environment, working closely with the SFMC architect to set up new data extensions, and researching and interpreting factual information. Your role will also involve identifying inconsistencies in data or results, defining business issues, and formulating recommendations on policies, procedures, or practices. You will integrate established disciplinary knowledge within your specialty area with a basic understanding of related industry practices, developing a working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Your impact will be limited but directly related to the quality of the tasks/services provided, primarily within your own team. Responsibilities include database administration, data analysis, maintenance, data quality, and database management or database architecture/design engineering. You will be responsible for coding in the SFMC Automation Studio environment according to business requirements, training new team members on SFMC coding, collaborating with the SFMC architect to set up new data extensions, suggesting new methods to automate SFMC-based compliance reporting, and handling routine operational or administrative work. Your day-to-day activities will focus on administering defined procedures, analyses, and report preparation, delivering routine and defined outputs, and developing knowledge of the broader context in which the work is performed. You should assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, showing particular consideration for the firm's reputation and complying with applicable laws and regulations. Qualifications for this role include a total of 3-5 years of experience, with a minimum of 1 year of work experience in SFMC Automation Studio. Knowledge of Data Warehouse/DB2, as well as experience with big data and machine learning (Python/Hive, etc.) is required. You should have the ability to engage resources outside of your direct control to achieve objectives and knowledge of cloud environments like Salesforce is a plus.
