As an EAE Applications Specialist within the Centre of Excellence (COE) dedicated to driving the enablement and adoption of EcoStruxure Automation Expert (EAE), your role is crucial in collaborating closely with sales teams and EAE Solutions Specialist to develop applications tailored to customers" needs using EAE technology. You will provide technical applications expertise and support to the sales team, act as a subject matter expert at the customer level, and engineer innovative solutions using EAE for various industrial applications. - Support country sales teams in accelerating sales growth through EAE - Identify technical requirements for EAE adoption - Create differentiated solutions for customers - Execute applications and project conversions using EAE - Enrich the overall SEs application knowledge - Qualify new offer development needs - Collaborate with global departments to create tailored offers using EAE technology To succeed in this role, you should be self-motivated, driven, and possess a must-win mindset. Strong influencing skills, technical intensity, commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of the Automation market are essential. Your expertise in designing, building, and optimizing applications using EAE, as well as your ability to interconnect different automation technologies, will be critical to your success in this position. - Provide sales enablement and applications support - Engage with customers to tailor EAE applications - Own technical solutions and best practices development - Contribute to training, enablement, and technical advocacy efforts - Deliver demos, host workshops, develop application solutions, and support project execution - Document processes and share knowledge The ideal candidate for this role should hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science IT programming, or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience in automation solution development and programming. Proficiency in programming languages, networking, industrial protocols, PLC programming, and SCADA/DCS systems is required. Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills are also crucial for effectively engaging technical and business audiences. This position will involve approximately 30-50% travel and is based in Bangalore, with potential involvement in projects in Chennai.
