Job Description
Senior DevOps Test Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and coordinate testing of all aspects of the product/system, including functional, regression, and system-level testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and capture test cases; ensure version control and proper test management.
- Set up test environments, design test plans, develop test cases/scenarios/use cases, and execute or coordinate them.
- Provide usability and serviceability feedback, trace results to quality risks, and report issues to stakeholders.
- Record, analyze, and maintain defect logs and track resolutions.
- Create master test plans and comprehensive test reports.
Qualification & Certification
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Senior Test Engineer with hands-on testing exposure.
- Strong knowledge of various testing techniques, including functional, regression, and system testing.
- Experience with
Middleware testing
(MuleSoft, API, ESB). - Hands-on with Quality Management Systems (QMS), quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in CI/CD integration tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab CI.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ISTQB/TMap certification.
- Experience with Tosca Tricentis for test automation and JMeter for performance testing.
- Knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo).
- Familiarity with integration platforms such as IBM MQ, MuleSoft, Apache Kafka, or Enterprise Service Bus (ESB).
- Strong SQL/database knowledge for backend validation.
- Business knowledge of airline regulations, customs procedures, supply chain logistics, or postal sector is a plus.
