DevOps Engineer with experience in AWS

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth, secure, and efficient delivery of applications by leading and managing end-to-end DevOps solutions for AWS-based projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading and managing end-to-end DevOps solutions for AWS-based projects, with a deep understanding of services like ECS, S3, CloudFront, CloudWatch, IAM, and Terraform. - Working closely with front-end and back-end teams (React, JavaScript, Python, Java) to design CI/CD pipelines that optimize deployment and reduce friction. - Comparing and designing solutions for monolithic vs microservices architectures. - Defining strategies for debugging, deploying, and rolling back in both environments. - Building efficient deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions and Terraform. - Designing smooth deployment structures for teams with 10+ developers on static and dynamic applications. - Managing customization requests while ensuring standardized, fast, and reliable deployments. - Defining clear rollback and monitoring strategies using Prometheus, Grafana, Alert Manager, and CloudWatch. - Exposing APIs securely for SaaS platforms using AWS best practices. - Implementing security models, authentication, and monitoring to safeguard applications. - Evaluating existing systems and proactively suggesting improvements in performance, automation, and developer experience. Qualifications required for this role include: - 7+ years of DevOps experience with a strong focus on AWS (ECS, S3, CloudFront, IAM, Terraform, CloudWatch). - Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar. - Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). - Strong understanding of monolithic vs microservices architectures and deployment strategies. - Proven ability to work independently, solve problems, and think critically in real-world scenarios. - Experience with monitoring & observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Alert Manager. - Strong collaboration skills with developers and cross-functional teams. Nice to have qualifications include: - Experience with EKS and an understanding of when to use it over ECS. - Exposure to React web, React Native, Python, JavaScript environments. - Background in platform engineering or API management in SaaS solutions.,
