DevOps Engineer

Your responsibilities will include: - Integrating container solutions within the UBS ecosystem - Developing new features for the container platform (including APIs, webhooks, UIs) - Creating automation for provisioning, upgrading, monitoring, and maintaining a large global fleet of Kubernetes clusters - Ensuring a secure container platform, production stability, and performance - Troubleshooting container workloads and implementing corrective measures - Collaborating with other engineering groups on the delivery of large-scale cloud/container programs The WMA Data Foundational Platforms & Services Crew, which fuels the WMA CDIO, is the team you will be a part of. This team provides foundational, disruptive, and modern platforms and technologies to drive business value across UBS. To excel in this role, you should possess: - 10+ years of engineering experience managing Azure Kubernetes Service - Development expertise in Java, Python, and/or Go, building containerized microservices on Kubernetes - Familiarity with Azure, Azure AD, PaaS, SaaS cloud services, and DevOps tools - Strong knowledge of setting up and supporting development/staging Kubernetes environments in Azure and on-premise deployments - Demonstrated experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines using various build and deployment plugins - Proficiency in deploying monitoring and metrics for Kubernetes containers - Deep understanding of the container ecosystem, including security, vulnerability management, monitoring, and alerting - Expertise in developing solutions for enabling development and operations teams to work with containerized applications UBS, the world's largest and truly global wealth manager, operates through four business divisions.
