DevOps Engineer (Support & Operations)

As a DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in automating, operating, and enhancing our cloud native service platforms. You will be an integral part of the team responsible for deploying, operating, and supporting our cloud native technology platform across public clouds like AWS and GCP. Our platform is built using Cloud Native technologies, primarily Kubernetes, providing a secure environment for product delivery and testing. Your primary focus will be on ensuring platform reliability, meeting SLAs, reducing operational load, and scaling sustainably to support business growth. Key Responsibilities: - Work as a key member of the DevOps/SRE team to reduce operational toil and ensure platform reliability - Follow scrum practices with two-week sprints to plan automation and improvements - Utilize a tech stack including Cloud Native technologies like Kubernetes, Istio, OPA, GoLang, Ruby/Groovy, and tools like ArgoCD, Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana - Implement safe change and reliability practices for customer environments with multi-stage deployment automation - Develop and launch effective Service Level Indicators (SLIs) to achieve Service Level Objectives (SLOs) through observability architecture and automation Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience with distributed environments, preferably with Kubernetes experience or Certified Kubernetes administrator certification - Passion for problem-solving in distributed environments, Linux Operating System, and network configurations - Strong interest in operational efficiency improvement and belief in automation for large-scale systems operation - Drive to ensure customer success through platform reliability and observability enhancements In addition to your technical skills, your passion for problem-solving and dedication to customer success make you an ideal candidate for this role.
