About the Role

DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage
CI/CD pipelines
using
Azure DevOps
for build, test, and deployment automation.
Manage and monitor
cloud infrastructure
in
Microsoft Azure
(e.g., App Services, Virtual Machines, AKS, Storage Accounts, Networking, etc.).
Implement
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
using tools like
Terraform
or
ARM templates
.
Collaborate with developers to optimize application performance, scalability, and deployment processes.
Manage
source control
and
branching strategies
(Git-based workflows).
Set up and maintain
monitoring, logging, and alerting
tools for proactive issue detection and response.
Ensure
security
,
compliance
, and
cost optimization
across all environments.
Participate in
release management
,
incident response
, and
root cause analysis
for production issues.

Required Skills & Experience

3 -5 years
of hands-on experience as a
DevOps Engineer
or in a similar role.
Strong expertise in
Azure DevOps Services
(Repos, Pipelines, Boards, Artifacts).
Solid experience with
CI/CD pipeline creation
, maintenance, and optimization.
Hands-on experience with
Azure Cloud
infrastructure (compute, networking, storage, and security).
Proficiency in
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
Experience with
containerization and orchestration
(Docker, Kubernetes / AKS).
Strong understanding of
Git
, branching strategies, and version control best practices.
Familiarity with
monitoring tools
like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or Prometheus/Grafana.
Experience with
scripting languages
(PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar).
Good understanding of
DevSecOps
and security best practices.

Nice to Have

Exposure to
multi-cloud environments
(AWS, GCP).
Knowledge of
configuration management tools
(Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).
Experience in
automated testing
and
QA integration
in CI/CD pipelines.
Azure Certifications (e.g.,
AZ-400
,
AZ-104
, or
AZ-305
) are a plus.
