Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure across multiple environments.
• Operate and scale

  EKS clusters

  ,

  EC2/Linux instances

  , and

  RDS databases

  .
• Design and maintain

  Terraform modules

  for infrastructure automation.
• Build and troubleshoot

  CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions

  .
• Configure and optimize

  AWS Direct Connect

  for hybrid connectivity.
• Ensure infrastructure reliability, performance, and security.
• Monitor systems with

  Datadog

  and improve observability practices.
• Collaborate with remote teams and mentor others in DevOps best practices.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Terraform expertise

  : Proven experience designing and managing modular, multi-environment setups.

• AWS proficiency

  : Hands-on experience with

  EKS, EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudFormation

  .

• GitHub Actions CI/CD

  : Strong background building and maintaining pipelines.

• AWS Direct Connect

  : Experience designing and managing private, high-throughput AWS connectivity.

• Linux administration

  : Strong skills in managing and troubleshooting Linux servers.

• RDS specialization

  : In-depth experience with

  Postgres/MySQL

  provisioning, tuning, and scaling.

• Monitoring

  : Practical experience with

  Datadog

  for metrics, logging, and alerts.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a remote-first environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced use of

  Datadog

  for APM, dashboards, and tracing.
• Experience with

  AWS Organizations

  and cross-account IAM setups.
• Familiarity with

  Helm, ArgoCD

  , or similar Kubernetes-native tooling.
• Knowledge of

  infrastructure security best practices

  and

  cost optimization

  .
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.
• Exposure to additional observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
