Job Description

Project description The project is in Risk Domain which is supported by the IT team. The platform operates 24/7 supporting teams in Sydney. The platform undergoes constant change as it provides services to a number of business stakeholders. Our team is composed of engineers and technology leaders, who bring in the right mix of skills to enable this transformation. We also work very closely with our business and operations colleagues to support these services which are critical to the Australian and Global economy. Our team is also responsible to also drive Engineering Governance, Continuous Delivery, and key technological simplification pillars such as Cloud and Payments Event-based architecture. Responsibilities Setting up CI/CD pipelines. Managing Source Control System, including branching, integration, and merging techniques using GitHub. Scripting using Python and shell scripting. Creating documents related to DevOps. Maintaining the automation scripts in the CI/CD infrastructure. Skills Must have 3+ Years of experience as a DevOps Engineer Hands-on experience of continuous integration, continuous delivery, automated testing, and all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle. Strong experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity & Artifactory. Expert in Source Control Management, including branching, integration, and merging techniques using GitHub. Proficiency in at least one popular programming language like Python, shell scripting, selenium with Java for automation testing and be able to write scripts for maintenance and automation. Experience in performing integrations for production builds/server hotfixes and execute test cases using Octopus. Ability to read and write simple to moderately complex scripts and programs for automation tools, frameworks, and dashboards. (Common languagesPython, bash, Java, etc.) Ability to document processes/procedures. Ability to perform code reviews for quality and adherence to company style guides. Good experience in development workflow patterns, including automated testing frameworks, git-flow vs. trunk-based development, etc. Nice to have Agile Methodologies Banking Domain Knowledge Other Languages EnglishC1 Advanced Seniority Regular
