DevOps Engineer / Lead

As a Senior Cloud / DevOps Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for driving the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure services. Your primary focus will be on establishing and enhancing continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines in collaboration with development teams. Additionally, you will work closely with operations and security teams to ensure best practices in infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, security compliance, and cost optimization are consistently applied across environments. Your role will also involve contributing to the development of reusable DevOps templates and frameworks to accelerate project delivery and ensure operational excellence. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with development teams to establish and enhance CI/CD pipelines, source code management, build processes, and deployment automation. - Design, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure components using Azure, AWS, GCP, and other cloud providers to ensure consistency, scalability, and repeatability of deployments. - Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Bicep. - Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring tasks using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. - Establish and enforce security best practices and compliance standards for cloud environments. - Monitor and optimize cloud-based systems, addressing performance, availability, and scalability issues. - Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational issues, troubleshoot incidents, and improve system reliability. - Ensure that SLAs/OLAs for services uptime and response time are met or surpassed. - Build and maintain CICD building blocks and shared libraries proactively for applications. - Participate in bridge calls with team members and contractors/vendors to prevent or quickly address problems. - Troubleshoot, identify, and fix problems in the DevSecOps domain. - Adhere to Information Security Management policies and procedures. **Qualifications Required:** - Expertise in Azure (mandatory requirement), AWS, or GCP. - 8+ years of related job experience. - Strong experience in containerization and container orchestration technologies. - Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation. - Experience with DevOps Automation tools like Terraform, GitHub Actions. - Good knowledge of Monitoring/Observability tools and processes. - Familiarity with information security frameworks and standards. - Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills. - Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills.
