Description
Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform Lead initiatives for CI/CD pipeline automation using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI. Collaborate with software engineering teams to streamline development, deployment, and observability practices. Administer and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with a focus on security, cost optimization, and performance. Implement configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE, or self-hosted). Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging tools (e. g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog). Troubleshoot production issues across services and infrastructure layers. Participate in on-call rotations and root cause analysis of incidents. Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices across the organization. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 5+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or a similar role. Proven experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Technical Skills: Strong scripting skills (e. g., Bash, Python, Go). Proficient in Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Kubernetes. Experience with Git-based workflows and source control tools. Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, firewalls, load balancing, VPNs). Familiar with secrets management and security best practices. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications (e. g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, Terraform Associate). Experience in hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking. Effective communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.
