Job Description

DevOps Engineer

Location:

Bangalore

Experience:

4 to 6 years

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage GCP cloud infrastructure with best practices in mind.
Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Ansible for maintaining resources, code, and changes.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to support software development and deployment cycles.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline and automate application deployment processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and cloud environments.
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system health and performance.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior DevOps engineers.
Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud-based applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in a DevOps role, with strong knowledge of CI/CD and automations.
Expertise in Ansible configuration management.
Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
Strong knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, ELK stack).
Experience with version control systems (Git).
Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments (IAM, KMS, VPC, etc.).
Good understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
Ability to write and debug scripts (Bash, Python, Groovy or similar).

Preferred Skills:

Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD management, and role definitions (mandatory).
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker is a must.
Experience with containerizing and clustering tools: Compose, Docker, Dockerfiles, ECS, Helm, Kubernetes, Nginx, HAProxy.
Experience with open-source databases such as Cassandra, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL.
Hands-on experience with caching databases like Redis and Hazelcast.
