What You'll Do

As a DevOps Engineer for BLC, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining DevOps functionality that automates software building and test execution for embedded operating systems. • Work with your team to execute strategy, direction, priorities and develop solutions aligning to business needs.
• Coordinate DevOps work on multi-disciplined engineering projects from design to implementation and serves as an expert resource for other engineers.
• Have in depth knowledge of Division goals and strategies and drives business objectives / improvements impacting division-wide measures.
• Your work will be an example and used as a guideline for others in the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science/Electrical/Electronics Engineering from an accredited institution required.
• Over all 3+ years of experience with
• 2 years min experience creating/maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• 2 years min experience in software development

Skills

• Administration of pipeline orchestration (ADO, GitHub, Github Actions or Similar)
• Experience with microservice deployment, docker containerization and one of its orchestration systems such as Kubernetes, Docker Swarm or Mesos.
• Experience deploying and managing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code in a pipeline using Terraform.
• Proficient in scripting language(s) (Shell Scripts)
• Usage of SAST and DAST tooling in automation pipelines
• Working knowledge in Microsoft defender to remediate vulnerabilities in infrastructure and application code
• Able to maintain/manage both Windows and Linux environments
• Monitor infrastructure health, system security, site stability and performance to ensure efficient use of computing resources
• Agile/Scrum
• IOT device knowledge
• Proficient in scripting language(s) like Python, C#
• Experience working in SAFe environment
• Experience writing functional and integration tests for Continuous Integration and Deployment frameworks.
• Experience developing or enhancing complex/large scale test frameworks and libraries.
• Experience in Sleuth to manage DORA metrics
• Experience with any scripting language like Python, Robot Framework, TestNG, Junit or similar build and unit testing frameworks.
• Proficient understanding of Source Control software and Code Collaboration tools (Git.); experience with Issue and Project Tracking software (JIRA, TFS, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Problem solving skills, Working in ambiguity, process management
• Able to communicate with diverse teams locally and internationally.
