You will be joining our team as a full-time Software Engineer, dedicated to enhancing the security solutions we provide. Collaborating with engineers, designers, and product managers, you will contribute to the technical direction of our Duo product. Your responsibilities will include building, documenting, extending, and maintaining various components of the product, ensuring its overall success. To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualities: - A proven track record as a professional software engineer, demonstrating successful project deliveries within a team environment. - 8-10 years of experience in site reliability engineering, systems engineering, or DevOps roles. - Proficiency in managing cloud environments, preferably AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Hands-on experience in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef. - Proficiency in using monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and Splunk. - Strong scripting skills in at least one language like Python, Go, or Bash. - Experience with load balancing, caching, and distributed systems architecture. - Understanding of version control tools such as Git, GitLab, or GitHub. - Expertise in troubleshooting production systems and networking protocols like DNS, HTTP, and TCP/IP. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, catering to individuals with varying technical expertise. - Previous experience in running production deployments on AWS or similar IaaS platforms. - Proficiency in delivering software using agile methodologies. - Strong commitment to ensuring the quality of your work and a passion for innovating in the network security domain. Additionally, having domain knowledge in DLP (Data Loss Prevention) would be considered a significant advantage for this role.
