DevOps Architect / Consultant

As a DevOps Architect/Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and manage secure and scalable cloud infrastructure. You will leverage your expertise in DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud automation to drive best practices and provide leadership to the team. Your key responsibilities will include leading the DevOps team, promoting CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation best practices, designing and maintaining secure infrastructure on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, implementing Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation, overseeing system monitoring, logging, and incident response, and embedding security into infrastructure and deployment workflows. Additionally, you will mentor and guide team members, evaluate new tools and technologies, and ensure the team's adherence to industry best practices. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, with a Master's degree being preferred. You should have at least 10 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position. Possessing two or more current cloud certifications (such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Terraform, etc.) is essential. You must demonstrate expertise in at least two major cloud platforms, strong skills in CI/CD tools, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code tools, along with scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or Go. A solid understanding of networking, security, system administration, and integrating security into DevOps processes is crucial. Preferred qualifications for this role include experience with serverless and microservices deployments, familiarity with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments, knowledge of cloud cost optimization strategies, and relevant advanced certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or CKA. This full-time role will primarily be onsite at our Trivandrum office, with occasional hybrid flexibility. The work hours are Monday to Friday, approximately 40 hours per week, with some overlap with PST. You will be part of a light on-call rotation and may need to travel occasionally for team meetings or conferences.
