DevOps Administrator

The project focuses on building and maintaining a robust DevOps ecosystem to support Java- and SQL-based application deployments using GitLab CI/CD pipelines. It involves end-to-end setup and automation of deployment workflows, environment provisioning, and system monitoring. The role also includes developing custom Python tools and ad-hoc scripts to streamline operational processes and automate repetitive tasks.

Additionally, the project requires managing Control-M job setups, handling database-related deployments, and performing Unix-based operations for application support and troubleshooting. Exposure to Oracle GoldenGate/CDC, containers (OCP), and cloud platforms is an advantage for handling special deployment scenarios within a non-standard infrastructure.

Your tasks

• Designing and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines for Java and SQL-based deployments
• Developing Python tools and ad-hoc scripts to automate operational workflows
• Managing Unix-based activities, including navigation, permissions, and installations
• Creating and scheduling Control-M jobs for automated batch processes
• Supporting Oracle GoldenGate/CDC, containerization (OCP), and cloud integration initiatives

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with DevOps skills. Proficient in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab for Java and SQL-based applications
• Skilled in Python scripting and tool development for automation and ad-hoc operational tasks
• Experienced in working with Unix systems, including navigation, permissions, and software installations
• Knowledgeable in scheduling and managing jobs in Control-M for batch process automation
• Familiar with Oracle GoldenGate/CDC, containerization (OCP), and cloud technologies for deployment and integration
