Developer Relations Engineer (DevRel)

In this role, you'll act as the bridge between the company and the developer community, advocating for tools, APIs, products, and gathering feedback to shape their evolution. If you enjoy engaging with developers, building technical content, and representing technology at various platforms such as meetups, webinars, and conferences, this role is for you. It's a blend of community engagement, communication, technical expertise, and branding. As a part of this role, you will: - Represent the company in developer communities through various channels like talks, hackathons, blogs, webinars, social media, and forums. - Create engaging content including sample apps, videos, and newsletters to showcase the company's work, culture, and expertise. - Plan and execute tech-focused events such as webinars, coding sessions, Ask Me Anything (AMAs), and internal tech talks. - Build and maintain relationships with developer communities, open-source contributors, and influencers to enhance the company's presence. - Gather developer feedback and collaborate with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing) to enhance the developer experience. - Organize and participate in events like hackathons, community meetups, developer days, and webinars. - Monitor community health to ensure a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment. - Contribute code samples and open-source projects that showcase best practices and product usage. - Track and analyze key Developer Relations (DevRel) metrics like content reach, engagement, community growth, event participation, developer feedback, and brand visibility across developer platforms. Requirements for this role include: - 1-2 years of experience in a technical role (e.g., software engineering, developer advocate, solutions engineer). - Proficiency in at least two programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, PHP, Go, etc.). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Experience in creating developer-focused content such as blogs, videos, and sample code. - Passion for building developer communities and supporting others" success. - Strong understanding of AI. - Proficiency in APIs, SDKs, and developer tools. - Experience in open-source contributions or managing technical communities. - Experience in organizing or speaking at tech events. - Familiarity with DevOps, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), or developer ecosystems (e.g., GitHub, Stack Overflow). - Previous involvement in building or scaling DevRel programs or strategies.,
