Developer - Java Fullstack

As a Developer - JAVA Full Stack at SAP, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable full-stack applications using Java/Spring Boot and the SAP CAP model on SAP BTP. Your key responsibilities will include: - Building responsive, user-centric UI applications using SAP Fiori Elements / SAPUI5. - Developing and exposing OData services using CDS models and integrating them with frontend applications. - Architecting and implementing cloud-native microservices with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability. - Deploying and managing applications on SAP BTP or other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). - Collaborating with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, Product Owners, and Architects. - Ensuring code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices. - Monitoring application performance and proactively identifying areas for improvement. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and full-stack development. - Strong experience in SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) model and SAP BTP. - Solid understanding of Fiori Elements, SAPUI5, and modern UI development practices. - Proven knowledge of microservice architecture, cloud-native development, API design, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). - Experience with cloud platforms (SAP BTP, AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native deployment strategies. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile development methodologies. - Strong understanding of OData services, CDS views, REST Services. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
