Job Description

Job Overview:

As a DIT - II at Expeditors, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing and implementing test automation frameworks, writing automated tests, and conducting thorough API testing. This role requires a deep understanding of testing methodologies and a passion for creating robust, maintainable test suites.

Key Responsibilities:

Automation Testing:

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress, Cucumber to ensure the stability and functionality of our web applications.

API Testing:

Design, implement, and execute API tests to validate data integrity, performance, and reliability.

Framework Development:

Create and evolve testing frameworks from scratch, incorporating best practices and ensuring scalability and maintainability.

Test Strategy:

Collaborate with the QA team and developers to define the overall testing strategy, test plans, and test cases.

Defect Management:

Identify, report, and track software defects, working closely with the development team to facilitate timely resolution.

Performance Testing:

Conduct performance and load testing to identify bottlenecks and optimize software performance.

Documentation:

Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results.

Mentorship:

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the SDET team, sharing knowledge and best practices.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as an SDET or automation engineer, with a strong track record of test automation and framework development.
