Detailing Engineer (PEB)

Job Description:

We are hiring a PEB Detailing Engineer who is experienced in preparing detailed fabrication and erection drawings for PEBs, sheds, and other steel structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of steel components, connections, and detailing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate shop/fabrication drawings, erection drawings, and GA drawings based on design inputs.
• Detail components for:
• Primary and secondary PEB members
• Roofing sheets and wall cladding
• Mezzanine floors
• Skylights, turbo vents, louvers, trims & flashings
• Generate Bills of Materials (BOM), Cutting Lists, and Material Take-Offs (MTO).
• Ensure all drawings meet company standards and applicable codes (IS, MBMA, AISC).
• Coordinate with design, fabrication, and site teams to clarify drawing requirements.
• Revise drawings as needed based on project changes or feedback from production/site.
• Maintain organized documentation and version control of drawings.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Diploma or B.E. in Civil / Mechanical / Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 1 years of experience in PEB or structural steel detailing.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, or equivalent detailing software.
• Strong knowledge of PEB components: rafters, purlins, columns, bracing systems, etc.
• Familiarity with fabrication practices and erection tolerances.
• Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in creating complex steel structure drawings.
• Ability to interpret structural drawings and work collaboratively with engineers and shop floor teams.
