Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare
2D drawings
and
detailed drafting
using AutoCAD as per project requirements.
Develop
general arrangement (GA) drawings
,
fabrication drawings
, and
layout plans
.
Interpret and convert
design sketches
,
engineering inputs
, and
technical specifications
into accurate drawings.
Modify and update existing drawings based on engineer/manager instructions.
Ensure drawings comply with
project standards
,
dimensions
, and
tolerances
.
Maintain drawing
records
,
revisions
, and
documentation
systematically.
Coordinate with design and engineering teams for clarifications and updates.
Assist in preparing
BOQ
,
material take-offs
, and other supporting documents when required.
Perform basic
quality checks
to ensure accuracy and consistency in drawings.
Support team in meeting project deadlines and deliverables.

Preferred Candidate Profile

B.Tech/Diploma / ITI in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or Drafting.
Minimum 3 years of experience
as an AutoCAD Draftsman.
Strong hands-on experience in
AutoCAD 2D
; knowledge of 3D is an added advantage.
Ability to read and understand
engineering drawings
, structural/PEB components preferred.
Good attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
