Detailing Engineer

Minimum Qualification: Diploma in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical or ITI in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Experience: You should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Tower Detailing and hands-on experience in AUTOCAD Software for at least 1 year. It would be preferable if you have 3 years of experience with BOCAD TOWER software. Objective: As a Draughts Person, you will be responsible for carrying out drafting activities for Transmission Lines Towers, Civil Foundations, and Structures. You should possess reasonable creativity in generating layouts comprehensively and be capable of suggesting alternatives or modifications. Key Responsibilities: - Receive Specifications and Single line Diagram from the Design Engineers Team - Check the detailing feasibility after receiving the design Line diagram - Prepare GA drawing using AUTOCAD or BOCAD - Generate SHOP drawings and BOM (Bill of Materials) - Check and Finalize General Arrangement Drawing and SHOP drawing - Release GA and SHOP Floor drawing for PROTO Assembly - Resolve issues related to Proto deviation in Assembly - Release drawings to the factory for Mass Production Technical Expertise: You should excel in drawing preparations and have knowledge of different types of towers, tower parts, insulators, accessories of towers, Stub & Stub setting templates (used for casting Stub), and Trigonometry. Operating Network: Internally, you will collaborate with the Head of Detailing, Design Engineers, Proto Managers of the Factory, and the Proto Team. Externally, you will liaise with various stakeholders.
