Detailer / Modeler -REBAR

Job Summary:

The REBAR Detailer / Modeler is responsible for reviewing and verifying detailed structural designs and drawings created in REBAR software, ensuring accuracy, adherence to industry standards, and compliance with project specifications. The role requires a high level of technical expertise in structural steel detailing, proficiency in software, and thorough knowledge of quality control and project guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drawing Review:
• Review and check detailed structural steel designs and shop drawings generated in REBAR for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with engineering standards.
• Ensure all drawings align with project specifications, codes, and client requirements.
• Identify and flag any design inconsistencies, errors, or omissions.
• Quality Assurance:
• Conduct thorough cross-checking of dimensions, connections, weld symbols, and material specifications.
• Ensure that all structural drawings meet the quality control standards of the company and industry practices.
• Perform clash detection and resolve interface issues between different parts of the model.
• Coordination:
• Work closely with the design and detailing teams to ensure all modifications and corrections are accurately reflected in the final drawings.
• Liaise with engineers, fabricators, and project managers to communicate any discrepancies and coordinate solutions.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain proper documentation of changes, revisions, and approvals throughout the checking process.
• Provide clear, concise feedback and reports to the drafting team and project management regarding corrections or improvements required.
• Support the development of project status reports and updates for internal and client use.
• Compliance & Standards:
• Ensure that all designs comply with relevant industry standards, such as ISO, AISC, or local building codes.
• Verify that the REBAR models conform to specific project guidelines and internal design protocols.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Provide input on improving internal checking procedures and suggest changes to enhance efficiency.
• Stay updated with advancements in REBAR software and participate in training sessions if necessary.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Educational Background:
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Experience:

Minimum of 2-7 years of experience in structural steel detailing and checking, with significant exposure to REBAR software.Experience in quality assurance procedures, checking for drawing accuracy, and following industry standards.High level of accuracy and meticulousness in reviewing and identifying potential issues in drawings.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with multiple teams and stakeholders.Ability to resolve discrepancies and propose solutions to improve the quality of designs.

• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, steel connections, and fabrication methods.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
