We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer with 12 years of experience to provide technical assistance to end-users, diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues, and ensure smooth IT operations at our Mumbai location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
  
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
  
• Support Windows OS, MS Office applications, and standard business applications.
  
• Handle basic network troubleshooting (LAN, Wi-Fi, IP configuration).
  
• Manage user accounts, password resets, and access permissions in Active Directory (basic level).
  
• Assist with installation and configuration of software, updates, and patches.
  
• Log and track support requests via ticketing tools and ensure timely resolution.
  
• Perform routine system maintenance and ensure IT asset documentation is up to date.
  
• Coordinate with L2/L3 teams for unresolved or escalated issues.
  
• Maintain compliance with IT security and company policies.

Preferred candidate profile

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 12 years of hands-on experience in desktop/laptop hardware and software troubleshooting.
  
• Good understanding of Windows OS, MS Office, and antivirus tools.
  
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, IP addressing).
  
• Experience with ticketing tools (Jira, ServiceNow, Freshdesk, etc.) is an advantage.
  
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  

Education:

• Diploma/Graduate in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  
• Certifications like

  MCSE, MCSA, CCNA, or ITIL

  will be an added advantage.

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to work flexible shifts if required.
  
• Should be available for immediate or short-notice joining (preferred).
