Job Description

Overview:

Working as a full-time Systems Engineer - Desktop where you will be responsible for helpdesk, technical support, and manage IT assets.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handling incoming emails, self-service Help Desk tickets, incidents and requests
  • Resolving and escalating Help Desk incidents and requests
  • Collaborating with colleagues and leadership to provide prompt and accurate customer service
  • Supporting hardware and software for Fastenal employees in all departments
  • Detailing accurate information in the incident or requests forms
  • Should have basic knowledge on installation, configuration and troubleshooting of MS Windows OS 10/11.
  • Basic knowledge about DHCP / DNS / SCCM / Windows TCP/IP protocols & Windows AD.
  • Basic network troubleshooting.
  • Printer & IPAD support.
  • Assets, Licensing and Vendor Management
  • On-call Support

Skills Requirements:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Should have knowledge on Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
  • Demonstrate strong organization, planning, prioritizing abilities and attention to detail
  • Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Networking Basics
  • Basic troubleshooting skills in windows desktop environment
  • Basic knowledge about various Windows TCP/IP protocols & services (SCCM, DNS, RDP etc.)
