Desktop Publishing Operator

As a DTP Operator, you will be responsible for preparing, formatting, and finalizing multilingual documents for translation while ensuring consistency with client specifications and brand guidelines. Your role will involve working on layout adjustments, font compatibility, and design adaptation across different languages, including those with special characters and right-to-left scripts. You will also be required to perform pre-processing of source files and post-processing of translated files for print, digital, and online publishing. Key Responsibilities: - Handle file conversions in various formats such as PDF, Word, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, etc., while ensuring that editable formats are maintained. - Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Linguists, and QC teams to deliver error-free output within project deadlines. - Manage version control, ensure proper file organization, and archiving for all projects. - Perform quality checks on graphics, charts, tables, and images to ensure alignment with the translated content. - Suggest process improvements and contribute to developing DTP best practices within the team.
