A desk reporter cum content writer, working behind the scenes in a newsroom, coordinates and edits news content, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and relevance, while collaborating with reporters, editors, and other professionals to produce a variety of news formats and write engaging content for social media channels, websites and marketing purposes.

• Content Coordination: They play a crucial role in organizing and editing news content, ensuring a cohesive and impactful presentation.
• Accuracy and Verification:They are responsible for verifying the accuracy of information and ensuring that news stories are factually sound.
• Timeliness:They work to ensure that news is delivered in a timely manner, keeping the audience informed about current events.
• Collaboration:They collaborate with reporters, editors, and other professionals to produce a variety of news content, including print, online, and broadcast.
• Story Development:They may assist in developing story ideas, researching leads, and gathering information.
• Writing and Editing:They may write and edit news stories, ensuring they are clear, concise, and engaging.
