Designer - Water

As a Digital Delivery Technician at Jacobs, you will play a vital role in producing technical 2D and 3D models and drawings using tools like Civil 3D and AutoCAD. Your responsibilities include collaborating with a team of technical staff, ensuring strong service delivery to internal clients, and coordinating design efforts. You will prioritize market objectives, distribute work within the team, and maintain high work standards with keen attention to detail. Working closely with Digital Delivery Leads, you will adhere to Jacobs BIM Standards and use the Content Library to supervise and approve BIM Objects in compliance with market, client, and company standards. Your accountability extends to the Quality Assurance/Quality Control process, providing information for Coordination Meetings, identifying and escalating risks, and fostering honest and transparent communication. To excel in this role, you should have the ability to work effectively within a team and possess over 3 years of drafting experience in water and wastewater infrastructure projects and industrial plant projects. A degree, diploma, or ITI in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification is required, along with a certificate from a CAD institution in AutoCAD or Civil 3D. Your skills and competencies should include extensive experience with Civil 3D software, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
