Designer or Product Designer

We are seeking a talented and innovative Designer to join our creative team at Super Knit Industries. As a Designer, you will play a key role in developing original designs for apparel, textiles, fashion accessories, or lifestyle products. Your responsibilities will include concept development, product design, and ensuring creative excellence across various design projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree or higher from NIFT in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Accessory Design, Knitwear, Lifestyle Product Design, or a relevant specialization. You should have 1 to 5 years of experience in the field and possess proficiency in design software such as CorelDRAW, Illustrator, and MS Office. A strong design portfolio demonstrating creative thinking and technical skills is required. Key Responsibilities: - Conceptualize and develop original designs, considering trends in the fashion/textile/lifestyle industry. - Conduct trend research, explore materials, and develop mood boards. - Create detailed technical drawings using design tools. - Collaborate with various teams to ensure design execution aligns with the overall vision. - Work on color palettes, surface ornamentation, fabric selection, and trims. - Stay informed about national and international fashion trends and consumer behavior. - Present design collections to internal teams or clients with clear rationale and storytelling. Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field. - Proficiency in CorelDRAW, Illustrator, and MS Office. - Strong understanding of materials, garment construction, and production processes. - Excellent communication, time-management, and collaboration skills. - Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
