Designer Manual & Document Layout

Fueling Brains is a purpose-driven organization transforming early childhood education through a holistic, whole-brain approach. We are in search of a skilled Designer to assist our team in developing a professional and visually engaging manual. As a Designer at Fueling Brains, your primary responsibility will involve structuring, formatting, and designing a comprehensive manual based on the content provided by our internal team. While our team will compile and organize the information, your role will be crucial in ensuring that the final manual is visually appealing, aligned with our brand identity, and easy to navigate. Key Responsibilities - Design and format manuals, guides, and other documents in accordance with brand guidelines. - Create layouts that optimize readability and enhance user experience. - Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, real estate, leadership) to grasp design requirements. - Integrate visuals, icons, and graphics to complement the content effectively. - Maintain consistency in fonts, colors, and overall design style throughout the manual. - Deliver both print-ready and digital-friendly versions of the manual. Required Skills & Experience - Demonstrated experience in graphic design, document layout, or publication design. - Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and/or Canva. - Keen eye for typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy. - Previous experience in designing manuals, handbooks, reports, or corporate documents is advantageous. - Ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and meet project deadlines effectively. Contract Details This position is offered on a freelance, hourly-based contract. Flexible work schedule to coordinate with internal content readiness. Duration: Until project completion, with potential opportunities for future creative projects.,
