Designer (Guidelines Specialist)

As a Designer (Guidelines Specialist) at Landor, you will be part of the Global Design Studio India team, focusing on developing comprehensive brand guidelines for leading global corporates and FMCG brands. Your role will involve crafting detailed and technical brand documentation for national and international applications, ensuring visual consistency across all touchpoints. Your proactive, organized, and collaborative mindset will directly influence the successful implementation of visual identity in diverse scenarios. Key Responsibilities: - Provide expert advice to the design and artwork departments on preparing master elements of new brands - Analyze projects systematically and advise on the logical structure and content of guidelines - Ensure inclusion, explanation, and detailing of necessary elements in the guidelines - Anticipate and solve potential problems related to creating new brands - Set up new guidelines based on existing templates and examples, including design and layout - Ensure consistency and compliance with guidelines in all design examples - Create clear, logical, comprehensive, and user-friendly guidelines - Demonstrate expertise in typography, publication design, and page layout - Collaborate internally to manage and implement changes until final approval - Manage deadlines proactively and efficiently Qualifications Required: - Solid knowledge of print processes and understanding of design systems and global trends - Experience in crafting detailed corporate guidelines, brand guidelines, editorial pieces, annual reports, and sustainability reports - Analytical and logical thinker with high precision and attention to detail - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to work independently on multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment - Proficiency in InDesign and Illustrator; experience in Photoshop is advantageous - Extensive branding and typographic experience,
