Designer - Electrical

As a designer within our organization, you will play a crucial role in project execution by efficiently handling work packages using design tools and collaborating with the Discipline team. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the quality of designs as per job manual and QA checklist requirements, meeting project timelines effectively with minimal supervision, and demonstrating expertise in modeling using tools such as SP3D. You will be responsible for generating layouts, installation drawings, MTOs, and checking drawings for accuracy. In addition to design tasks, you will be expected to adhere to HSE and QA/QC guidelines, ensuring compliance with the project's requirements. Effective communication with the Lead Engineer regarding project status and progress, man-hour tracking, and managing changes to the original scope will be essential parts of your role. Your domain knowledge should include experience in layout engineering, cable routing, conduit sizing, lighting layouts, hazardous area layouts, and other related tasks. Proficiency in Smart Plant 3D (SP3D) and AutoCAD will be necessary for this role. To be a successful candidate for this position, you should have an ITI/Diploma in Engineering Discipline (Electrical) and prior experience in EPC or detail design engineering companies within sectors like Oil & Gas, Energy, Refining, and Petrochemicals. The ideal candidate will have 10-20 years or more of experience as a Senior Designer. Intermediate English proficiency is required.
