DESIGNER CUM UNIT COODINATOR

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Designer cum Unit Coordinator to lead our in-house design and production operations. This role combines creative design with hands-on coordination of customer stitching orders, including taking body measurements, overseeing customizations, and managing our tailoring, alteration, and handwork units. The ideal candidate should have strong fashion sense, technical garment knowledge, and people management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development:

Design and develop exclusive in-house ethnic and contemporary wear for women (sarees, salwars, lehengas, kurtis, etc.).

Create sketches, fabric combinations, and embellishment concepts in line with current trends and customer tastes.

Source appropriate fabrics, trims, and accessories from vendors or local markets.

• Customer Order Coordination:

Interact with walk-in clients to understand their requirements and suggest custom design solutions.

Take accurate body measurements for custom stitching orders.

Document order details clearly including garment type, fabric, style, fit, measurements, delivery dates, etc.

Coordinate trial fittings and ensure customer satisfaction through timely delivery and quality finishing.

• Unit Handling (Stitching, Alteration & Handwork):

Assign and monitor stitching jobs to in-house tailors and craftsmen.

Oversee alterations and ensure they meet the required quality and timelines.

Supervise handwork artisans (embroidery, beadwork, etc.) and maintain consistency in craftsmanship.

Maintain workflow between departments to avoid delays and ensure on-time order completion.

Conduct quality checks before final delivery to the customer.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
