Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Designer cum Social Media Expert to manage our social media presence and create engaging visual content. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing brand-aligned creatives, managing social media accounts, supporting the web dvelopers and driving audience engagement through innovative content strategies.

Roles & Responsibilities

· Design engaging creatives for social media posts, ads, reels, stories, and marketing materials.

· Manage and grow the company’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).

· Plan and maintain a content calendar aligned with business goals and campaigns.

· Create and edit short videos, reels, and motion graphics.

· Stay updated on industry trends, hashtags, and design innovations.

· Support paid advertising campaigns with optimized visuals and creatives.

· Monitor social media engagement, respond to comments/messages, and build community relationships.

· Prepare regular performance reports and recommend improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

· Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, Communication, or related field.

· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.).

· Experience managing social media platforms and content creation.

· Strong sense of creativity, branding, and attention to detail.

· Knowledge of digital marketing trends and best practices.

· Excellent communication and time management skills.

Technical Skill Set Graphic Design & Creative Tools

· Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (essential)

· Video & Motion: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe Animate

· Canva / Figma: for quick social content and collaboration

· CorelDRAW (optional, depending on industry)

Social Media Content Creation

· Short-form video editing (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)

· Basic animation, GIFs, and motion graphics

· Knowledge of aspect ratios, resolutions, and platform-specific formats

Social Media Platforms & Management

· Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter (X), YouTube

· Experience with scheduling tools (Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, etc.)

· Knowledge of platform algorithms, trending formats, and hashtag strategy

Digital Marketing & Analytics

· Familiarity with Facebook Ads Manager and Instagram Ads setup

· Understanding of Google Ads Display creatives

· Knowledge of SEO basics for social posts

· Analytics & insights using:

o Meta Insights (FB/Instagram)

o TikTok Analytics

o Google Analytics (for campaign tracking)

General Technical Skills

· Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) for reporting

· Cloud collaboration (Google Drive, OneDrive)

· Basic photography/videography skills (camera/mobile)

· Knowledge of responsive design for web/social compatibility

Web & Digital Design

· Knowledge of Responsive Design Principles (desktop, tablet, mobile)

· Understanding of Web Layouts, Grids, and Typography

· Preparing design assets optimized for web (SVG, PNG, WebP, compressed images)

· Designing landing pages, banners, sliders, and UI elements

Basic Front-End Knowledge (to collaborate with developers)

· Familiarity with HTML & CSS basics (so designs are web-ready and practical)

· Understanding of Bootstrap / Tailwind CSS concepts (for component-friendly design)

· Awareness of JavaScript limitations (so they don’t design impossible interactions)

UX & Interaction Design

· Wireframing and prototyping user flows

· Knowledge of CTA placements, color psychology, and accessibility standards (WCAG)

· Designing with SEO-friendly layouts in mind

· Usability testing and feedback incorporation

Collaboration & Workflow

· Preparing design handoff using tools like Zeplin, Figma Inspect, or Adobe XD Specs

· Organizing assets for developers (layered files, naming conventions, export settings)

· Version control & collaboration tools (Git basics, or at least Jira, Trello, Asana)

Bonus / Advanced Skills (Good-to-Have)

· UI/UX basics (Figma, Adobe XD)

· Knowledge of email marketing design (Mailchimp, HubSpot templates)

· Experience with influencer collaboration tools

· Understanding of AI tools for design & content (MidJourney, Canva AI, ChatGPT for captions, etc.)
