Job Description

• Works under limited supervision, demonstrating a high level of autonomy in decision-making and problem-solving.
• Provides training and technical support to design staff on the Building Information Modeling system, which provides 3D models using project specifications and content.
• Directs project support and production for assigned projects, creating drawings as required using standards and content to meet job requirements (objects within the drawing, doors, lights, etc.).
• Develops and maintains BIM execution plans, ensuring alignment with project goals and industry best practices.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless integration of BIM processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Implements and oversees quality control procedures for BIM models and associated documentation.
• Conducts clash detection analyses and coordinates resolution of conflicts within the BIM environment.
• Manages and optimizes BIM content libraries, ensuring up-to-date and accurate information for all project stakeholders.
• Stays current with emerging BIM technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing improvements to existing workflows and processes.
• Participates in client meetings and presentations to communicate BIM strategies and project progress effectively.
• Mentors junior team members in BIM best practices and advanced modeling techniques.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field + 3years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Intergraph SmartPlant, and Plant 3D
• Extensive experience in creating and managing 3D models for complex projects
• Strong understanding of architectural and engineering principles
• Excellent knowledge of BIM execution plans and industry best practices
• Proven ability to work autonomously and make high-level decisions
• Demonstrated experience in clash detection and conflict resolution within BIM environments
• Strong communication and presentation skills
