Designer (AutoCAD & SolidWorks)

As a Designer specialized in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, you will play a crucial role in creating innovative and functional designs for our products. Your expertise in 2D/3D design and drafting will be instrumental in transforming abstract ideas into tangible designs with precision and originality. Collaborating with engineering, R&D, and production teams, you will ensure that designs are not only creative but also functional and cost-effective. Your responsibilities will include creating detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks, developing and refining product designs based on project requirements, and translating concepts into technical drawings and models. By applying creative problem-solving skills, you will suggest imaginative alternatives and conduct design reviews to validate concepts. To excel in this role, you must have proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, along with a degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Product Design or a related field. Strong visualization skills, exceptional imagination, knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes, and attention to detail are essential attributes for success. Additionally, experience in product design, prototyping, or industrial design, familiarity with GD&T, FEA, or simulation tools in SolidWorks, and a portfolio showcasing innovative designs will be advantageous.
