Summary

Design and development of plastic components and electronic modules for Automotive / Industrial domain.

Must have

• Must Have
• Creo - Hands on experience in working with A surfaces, solid modelling and drafting modules (must be ready for tool test)
• Plastics & electro-mechanical design
• DFM & DFA
• Preferred
• IP rated product design (or knowledge of IP is also ok)
• Sheet metal & Metal design

Key Skills

• Experience: 6 to 8 years
• Education: Diploma/BE in Mechanical engineering/Related engineering
• CAD Skills: Creo (Must have)
• Hands on experience in working with Class A surfaces, solid modeling, drafting modules, IP rated products
• Experience in application of GD&T in manufacturing drawings
• Experience in Tolerance stack-up analysis
• Experience in designing of plastic components, especially automotive interiors, center consoles and infotainment products
• Experience/Knowledge of different plastic materials, tooling and manufacturing processes
• Sound knowledge in Design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA) requirements
• Experience in design integration with electrical/electronic modules
• Experience in working with global teams, handling activities independently and taking ownership

Job responsibilities

• Understanding of functional requirements of the product and preparing concept design proposals.
• Work on both standard and customer-specific products, applying creativity to balance ergonomic design with rugged performance in industrial settings.
• Engage closely with our application team to develop customized solutions tailored to specific client needs.
• Leverage simulation tools for thermal management and structural analysis to enhance product reliability and performance.
• Detail design of individual components, following standard design guidelines and manufacturing aspects.
• Create manufacturing drawings with GD&T and related design documents.
• Follow development process, create and maintain engineering documents to meet Quality System requirements.
• Involve in the design reviews with global team, evaluates and implements design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per month
