Design Thinking Mentor

You will be joining an early stage edtech startup as a Design Thinking Mentor, where you will play a crucial role in inspiring and guiding kids aged 9-13 through the exciting journey of design thinking. Your main responsibilities will include: - Leading interactive workshops both online and offline in Mumbai, focusing on teaching kids design thinking in a fun and engaging manner. - Adding your own creativity and energy to the existing resources to enhance the learning experience for the children. - Providing valuable feedback to help improve the core program, workshops, and the app. - Tracking participation and noting down key takeaways to continuously enhance the quality of each workshop. To excel in this role, you should possess the following superpowers: - Strong grasp of design thinking principles. - Ideally, some prior experience in teaching or mentoring children. - Passion for hands-on, maker-style learning approaches. - Background in education, design, innovation, product design, or related fields. - Proficiency in using online teaching tools such as Zoom and Google Meet. The specifics of the job include a mix of offline and online sessions held in Mumbai, with a flexible part-time/freelance/contract arrangement. You will be expected to be available 5-6 days a week, including weekends, and commit 3-4 teaching hours each day. Additionally, you should have a stable Wi-Fi connection, a laptop, and a webcam.
