Description
The main objective of the Design Professional role is to conceptualize, oversee, and execute diverse design projects aligned with the organization's objectives. In the domain of Design, you will be responsible for managing a variety of design projects related to commercial office buildings, including asset repositioning, amenities development, office fit-outs, arrival & landscape experience, and operational improvement projects. Your role will involve providing innovative thought leadership in the future of office design, studying and implementing new trends in the commercial sector, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards. Additionally, you will be tasked with building relationships with design firms, clients, and industry professionals, coordinating information flow between design consultants, ensuring finishes & materials align with design specifications, and supporting internal stakeholders such as leasing, regulatory, legal, marketing, procurement, execution, operations, and finance teams. Managing external stakeholders including consultants, clients, contractors, vendors, and project management consultants will also be a key aspect of your role. Under Project Management, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle from initiation to handover, ensuring timely completion within budget and maintaining quality standards. This involves conducting project analysis, building strong relationships with stakeholders, preparing project reports, developing detailed project plans, analyzing project budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulations. Aligning with the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework, including Health and Safety (EHS), will also be crucial. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor of Architecture degree from a reputable institute, with an MBA and Project Management Professional accreditation preferred. Additionally, being an Accredited Green Building / WELL professional would be advantageous. You are expected to have over 15 years of relevant experience in project design (architecture, interior) and project management, preferably in a design consultancy firm. Additional experience in real estate development or project management consultancy firms would be beneficial. Key skills required for this role include strong interpersonal skills, design acumen, technical knowledge of commercial office buildings, familiarity with building by-laws, project management expertise, ability to influence stakeholders, and effective team management capabilities.,
