Job Title

Department

Role Objective

AC side of Solar PV Power Plants

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engineering drawings/documents on time as per project schedule
Review AC SLDs, cable sizing, transformer sizing, layouts (building, earthing, cable tray, lighting, etc.)
Guide and review work of design engineers and draughts persons
Validate vendor drawings and technical offers
Coordinate across departments: Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Instrumentation, MEP
Interface with site execution teams, clients, and vendors
Provide technical clarifications, BOQ preparation, and support during design finalization
Inspect equipment and ensure vendor compliance
Estimate and plan engineering man-hours
Drive digitalization, standardization, and value engineering

Technical Expertise

Design and calculations: LT/HT Breakers, UPS, Busbar, Battery, Cable Routing, Earthing, Lightning Protection
Knowledge of:

National and International Codes and Standards
Solar PV plant system architecture (AC side)
Short-circuit calculations and safety standards

Awareness of interdisciplinary dependencies (Civil, Mech, Instrumentation)

Software Skills

Required
: MS Office, basic awareness of Dialux
Desirable
: ETAP
